Within the Anime series In recent years, without a doubt one of the most cutting-edge is Attack on the Titans (Shingeki no Kyojin), a series based on the homonymous manga by Hajime Isayama whose plot places us in a kind of apocalyptic world where the last stronghold of humanity remains secluded in a walled city safe from the Titans, gigantic creatures that feed on human flesh.

Everything will change when one day a huge Colossal Titan of 50 meters that destroys the outer wall of the city, sneaking in numerous Titans that massacre a large part of the population, including the mother of Eren jaeger. Swearing revenge, Eren joins the Legion of Reconnaissance with his friends Armin Arlet and Mikasa Ackerman to exterminate each and every one of the Titans, discovering the most surprising secrets and revelations along the way.

The best moments of the Attack on Titan series

With the manga already concluded and the anime about to end after the premiere of the first part of its final season, we wanted to remember in our section of table games the board game based on the Shingeki no Kyojin series, which you can see in detail in our next unboxing.

In this new board game, called Attack on Titan: The Last Stand, we will have two sides to choose from. Either choose one of the eight available characters of the Legion of Reconnaissance (Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Levi, Hange, Connie, Sasha and Erwin) or be the Titan willing to devour our protagonists, being able to choose between four types of Titan different: Basic, Ravenous, Destroyer and Abnormal.

Players who control humans will have to roll dice with which to fulfill strategy cards (and also try to anticipate the Titan’s attacks) in order to fulfill them and apply their effects, with only two of them having the resolution of the Titan’s death. For his part, the Titan player has several ways to win: by killing all the citizen pieces, destroying the six cannons in the tower, or by killing one of the characters of the Reconnaissance Legion.

Attack on Titan: The Last Battle is an interesting strategy game which has a lot of crumb depending on the number of players, since the more players are controlling the characters of the Reconnaissance Legion, the more difficult it will be to engage in a joint strategy without the player who controls the Titan noticing it. Although it is already a few years old, you can still find the Attack on Titan game in several specialized stores, so if you are interested in having it in your collection, do not hesitate and get it. Fun is more than guaranteed!
