May 2021 PS Plus games now available: Battlefield V, Wreckfest and more

The games of PlayStation Plus May 2021 are already available. All users subscribed to the PlayStation online service, on PS4 or PS5, will now be able to download these four games at no additional cost: Battlefield V, Wreckfest: Drive Hard, Stranded Deep, and Waves Out!

As always, you have a month to claim them, and you can download and play them at no additional cost, as long as you keep your PS Plus subscription active. As usual since PS5 came out, one of the games is exclusive for the users of the new generation console, you can enjoy the rest on PS5 and PS4. They will be available until May 31.

Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Drive Last. (PS5)

PS5 players will be able to enjoy Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Drive Last, a racing and action game on wheels in which collisions and destruction reign, with realistic physics of damage and deformation in vehicles. Wreckfest originally came out in 2019 on previous-gen consoles, and the next-gen optimized version debuts in May, with 4K and 60fps graphics. After the PS Plus period, on May 1, it will be formally launched for sale. A version will also be released on Xbox Series X later this year.

Battlefield V (PS4)

The highlight for PS4 users (also those of PS5, of course) is Battlefield v, the last of the DICE saga so far, released in 2018, set in the most emblematic conflicts of the Second World War, with a great story mode and of course its huge multiplayer. Stranded Deep (PS4)

Stranded Deep is a very original proposal for those who like survival games, games Robinson Crusoe books or the movie Shipwreck. We play a, yes, shipwrecked man who must fend for himself to survive on a desert island in the Pacific: fish, hunt, build boats to sail between islands, gather more materials and finally escape … although we may meet with some monstrous creature in the sea.

Waves Out! (PS4)

As usual, Spanish users can enjoy an additional free game, the program PlayStation Talents. Waves Out!, by Crevice from Bilbao, is led by a magnet called Manetín who must catch as many mats as possible and take them to a hole. It has single and multiplayer mode.

Remember that only PS Plus users on PS5 have access to a large collection of PS4 games, which includes some of Sony’s biggest hits of recent years:

  • Bloodborne
  • Days gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • God of war
  • Infamous second son
