The Mass Effect saga will return to consoles and PC next may 14, like a facelift of one of the best trilogies in video game history. EA has put all the meat on the grill to give the best version of the three original titles of the Bioware RPG saga, which will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC with all kinds of improvements.
After knowing that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will have photo mode and that the first game will look at the same level as the other two installments, we already know how much the launch patch could take up of the compilation. Specifically, the portal Orbis Patches has revealed more information about this update.
According to this portal (specialized in extracting update data for PS4 games), patch day 1 of Mass Effect Legendary Edition will occupy a total of 11.8GB, which means it will be larger than any of the original three games. Is about a leak for the PlayStation 4 version, and at the moment it is not confirmed.
This weight of 11.8GB far exceeds the 6.83GB of Mass Effect, the 9.25GB of Mass Effect 2 and the 10.6GB of Mass Effect 3. Version 1.01 of Mass Effect Legendary Edition will be available on May 14, and some of the playable and technical improvements that will be added to this compilation have also been revealed.
- Improved performance
- Improve stability and fix crashes.
- Improvements in ambient occlusion (AO)
- Light enhancements, both visual and performance specific.
- Various content fixes
At the moment it is unknown how much Mass Effect Legendary Edition will occupy in its entirety, but it is to be expected that far exceeds the size of the three original titles combined. This remastering will run at 4K and be compatible with PS5 and Xbox Series X | S (although they are not native versions), and also their resolution and performance will be reviewed with this first patch of launch of the game.
We have already told you that the first Mass Effect will benefit the most from this remastering (the captures leave no room for doubt), and it will almost seem like a totally new game. They have not been kept awake more details of Legendary Edition, but without a doubt this first patch brings tons of content to improve the experience on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition coming to PlayStation, Xbox and PC next may 14. In addition to the standard edition, a precious collector’s edition will also be available that includes a 1: 1 scale replica of the N7 helmet, although unfortunately it will not include the game copy.
