New Pokémon Snap is full of Pokémon that we can catch on the many routes that there are in the Lensis region. At first you will see so many that your Fotodex will smoke, but after a few hours you may still be missing a lot of Pokémon … Finding all the Pokémon is the great challenge of the game, especially the Legendary Pokémon.
There are 10 Legendary Pokémon hidden in Lensis, and they are the hardest to see. In fact, you may have hit the credits and haven’t seen any. Well yeah, one, because the game’s “final boss” is one of the Legendaries. The others are not so easy to see.
How to find all Legendary Pokémon in New Pokémon Snap
As we said, there are 10 Legendary Pokémon that you can find in New Pokémon Snap … and one of them has no loss, because you find it at the end of the story. Note that many Pokémon only appear if you have climbed to a high level (2, 3 or the maximum) the route. If you do not find them, repeat the route until it levels up, and thus find more Pokémon and interactions. Remember that the maximum level to which the routes go up is 4.
The Kalos Legendary is the sixth Lumini Pokémon in the game, and you will find it on the last route of the Ruins of the Custody.
In the Floreo Natural Park, just at the end of the tour, in the flower area, you will see two lumini orbs to the right, one of them something more hidden among the flowers. Shoot an orb at him to make Shaymin appear. It is also possible to find it hidden in other points of that route.
Find Mew in the Lush Jungle It’s easy, but it’s a bit far-fetched. As soon as you start the night route of the jungle, turn quickly (click down on the crosshead) and play the melody. Behind the Morelulls, Mew will appear inside a ball of energy, hit him with a target to make him appear, but you have to be very fast, because he will disappear again soon! It will go out several times on the route, and when you see it for the first time it is possible that it will go out during the day.
In the Lensis fossa, take the first detour right at the start (throwing an apple at Clawitzer). Keep moving until you go down the pit. Shortly after the moment you see a lumini flower next to a Lumineum, find Lanturn: Shoot him an orb. Lanturn will go down but will be caught by two Frillish: shoot another orb at Lanturn to free him and open a detour where you will find Lugia.
Ho-Oh appears flying in the volcano level, but it seems to be random. Pay attention to the sky and prepare to repeat the level several times if necessary.
Celebi is very simple, because you don’t have to do anything special. You will find it hovering at various points in the Changing Forest, but it is very fast, so have the camera ready (and if you can activate the burst mode).
This is the longest to find. First you need to open the secret route of the tour of Algente Valley, that of the snow, during the day. When you start, you will see to a Sandlash on your left: Take a picture of it so that it runs away. Shortly after, you will also find it on a peak to the left: always look in that direction and you will find it. If you take another photo, Sandlash will run away and open a path to the right, which you can scan.
Now that you have unlocked the route, you must return to the route but at night. As you take the detour, you will see a Crabominable– Shoot an orb to move a tree and snow an Abomasnow. This one will get angry and suddenly a Froslass will come out, which will open another alternative route for you. Following her, you will go through a cave and then you will see the sea. Shoot orbs at a Jinx, hovering far to the right over an Avalugg, which will begin to sing … and Suicune will finally come out.
Towards the end of the Quimbamba Cavern, right in front of where are some huge crystals, you will see two Carbinks next to a Marwile. If you throw an orb at both of them, Diancie will appear. Of course, you have to have a high level of the route, because otherwise what you will see will be a Carbink running around and you will not be able to hit the orb.
At the end of the game you unlock the route of the Sunset reef. To find Manaphy you must take the last detour, almost at the end, and throw orbs at Lapras for them to sing. With the help of the melody of your Neo-One, the Legendary will come out of the water, but you will need to raise the level of the tour.
You will find it as soon as you start the route of the Ruins of the Custody, behind some Eldgegoss floating in the sky. But it will only come out once you’ve finished the story. Later you will also find it in the ruins inside the cave: if you light up the orbs it will fly away and you can take better photos of it.
