The creators of A Plague Tale: Innocence seek new staff for an unannounced project

A Plague Tale: Innocence has been one of those titles that, without the shelter of the big lights, has managed to earn a reputation based on good work and its own merits. Asobo Studio rose to fame with this work, but there has been much more on the way and what is to come.

In recent months, the team has lived up to expectations, never better said, and they are responsible for Microsoft Flight Simulator, a title that continues to receive important updates. Nevertheless, It seems that the team is already aiming for the start of a new project.

As has become known after having published a series of job vacanciesAsobo Studios is looking to add two developers to its staff. Specifically, the company wants to add to two senior animators for an “AA or AAA video game production”.

The experience requirements require that both have an “excellent command of animation techniques” and must have a “good knowledge of anatomy”. The offer adds that the two would join the “team behind A Plague Tale: Innocence”.

What seems clear is that the project is not about airplanes. The information contained in the cover letter for both jobs also indicates that animators would have to participate in motion capture sessions and ensure that the animations are properly integrated into the game.

But let’s not rush, as this does not mean that Asobo is making a sequel to this game; you could simply relate to those who worked on the first one. Still, it’s not the first time A Plague Tale 2 It is mentioned and it is that, in 2019, there was already talk of the possibility that his studio was working on the development of the sequel.
