The Binding of Isaac, one of the most acclaimed roguelike indies, received another update, Repentance, the definitive edition (and this time it does seem to be the last) with a lot of new content: 130 new objects (making a total of 700), more than 100 enemies, more 25 bosses, 2 new playable characters, over 5,000 new room layouts, and a new ending.
Edmund McMillen’s game first came out in 2011, and The Binding of Isaac Repentance is now available on PC, on Steam and Epic Games Store. Later it will also come to Nintendo Switch, PS4 and PS5. You can buy it as a separate game, or as DLC if you have any of the earlier versions, such as Afterbirth.
The Binding of Isaac Repentance: How To Unlock Mega Mush
One of those new items introduced in Repentance is el Mega Mush, an object inspired by the Mega Mushroom from New Super Mario Bros., which makes you giant for 30 seconds: it gives you 4x damage, makes you invulnerable, and can destroy obstacles and doors.

Of course, its power is equivalent to the difficulty of unlocking it. To do this, you must get all “Completation Marks“with all characters on hard mode. That is, all the icons that appear on the character selection screen, which will appear with red marks if they are in hard mode.
There are 24 Completation Marks in Repantance, each with unlockable secrets when you get them. And in Repentance there is 17 characters total (without the alternate versions that appear in the final area, which do not count towards unlocking the mushroom). Quite a challenge for experts, although those who want to unlock everything already know what awaits them at the end.
