New Resident Evil Showcase Announced: Event Will Show Village Gameplay Trailer Next Week

We come to the weekend and that only means one thing: being able to play hours and hours with your PC or consoles. No matter what platform you have, there is lots of great quality options and for all tastes and ages. If you want to play without paying a single euro, during this weekend you will have many games with which to have a great time thanks to Epic Store, Steam, PS Store, Microsoft Store or Nintendo eShop.

We started strong with the Resident Evil Village second demo, which is available starting tomorrow, April 17, for PS4 and PS5 users in advance. It will be released on Xbox and PC on May 1, but PlayStation players can enjoy this demo, divided into two parts: Village Demo and Castle Demo. Of course, during this weekend you can only play the Village Demo, with a duration of 30 minutes, from Sunday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m., and expires at dawn on Monday. We explain the steps to preload it.

  1. Accede to this link which will take you to the PS Store, and from which you can preload Resident Evil Village demos for PS4 and PS5.
  2. Later, sign in with your PSN account and add to your game library “ Resident Evil Village Gameplay Demo ”
  3. Of course, remember that you must add the version you want to play, either PS4 or PS5. From Sunday at 19:00 hours, you can play Village Demo. The Castle Demo will be available next weekend.

Users of PS4 and PS5 can continue enjoying the great Play at Home, which gives the opportunity to play 9 great games for free, among which are Abzú, Subnautica, REZ, Moss, Astro Bot Rescue Mission or the expected Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition, which will arrive on April 19 for all PlayStation users. But hey, don’t fall asleep, because you can also keep rocking PS Plus Collection, with tons of great PS4 games for PS5 players. If you like war titles, try Enlisted open beta, the MMO shooter for PS5.

We know you love it Oddworld Soulstorm, a launch title that you can play if you are subscribed to PS Plus on PS5, as part of the free games of said service in April 2021. We also do not forget to Days Gone and Zombie Army 4 Dead War, as well as a large selection of free games from PS Store such as Destiny 2, Vigor, World of Warships Legends, H1Z1 Battle Royale, Genshin Impact or the first episode of Life is Strange 2.

Alien Isolation

Do you play in Pc? If so, you’re in luck, because this weekend Epic has thrown the house out the window. Up to three PC games totally free, and next April 22 they join Great games like Alien Isolation or Hand of Fate 2. From now on you can play for free Deponia: The Complete Journey, The First Tree and Ken Follet’s The Pillars of the Earth, but first you will have to register in the Epic Games digital store.

Be careful, because there are many more options to play in the Epic Store. If you have already passed the three previous titles, we recommend you to give some other free games like Spellforce 3, Sludge Life, Battle Breaker or 3 out of 10: Season One, to liven up the wait before the Xenomorph from Alien Isolation arrives, which you can play from next Thursday, April 22, along with Hand of Fate 2.

To continue with the PC options, we go to Steam. On the Valve platform you can play Kards Anniversary Edition, an ingenious World War II card game, that will keep you hooked all weekend long. Other very interesting options are Hired Ops, Smash Legends, Runeverse: The Card Game, TODO: Today, Lab Rags, Buildodge or Steel Salvo, some of them are free during this weekend and others are free to play.

Kingdom two crowns

If you play in Xbox Series X | S or Xbox One, this weekend you can play the fun game for free Kingdom two crowns, as part of Xbox Free Play Days. But don’t forget the Games With Gold in April 2021, which in this second fortnight of the month gives you the opportunity to play Truck Racing Championship and Hard Cops UprisingBoth available until May 15 if you are subscribed to Xbox Live Gold.

In case the previous Xbox games weren’t enough, don’t forget about Game Pass. In the Microsoft service for consoles you will find great games of the stature of GTA V, Octopath Traveler, the popular shooter Outriders o 20 iconic Bethesda games. From the Microsoft Store, you can play free titles like Warframe (which was recently updated for Series X | S) and to the open beta of the MMO shooter Enlisted.

And, in case you have Nintendo switch, this weekend you can rock a series of free titles available on the Nintendo eShop. The fun Tetris 99 gives way to a new Battle Royale with a vintage flavor, Pac-Man 99, which you can play if you are subscribed to Switch Online, but other options such as Fallout Shelter or Tetris 1920’s they don’t need it. We recommend you try the friendly Kitten squad, or the haunting RPG dungeons of The Elder Scrolls Blades.

As you can see, this weekend you have tons of options to play for free on your PC, PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo Switch. You will not have hours to discover all the joys that these video games have in store, with options for all ages and for all tastes.
