It is known that Naughty Dog is developing a new game for PS5 (Neil Druckmann anticipated it a few months ago), but it is not a new installment of Jak and Daxter. In the pools there is the possibility that it is the next-gen version of The Last of Us 2, although also the option of a remake of the first The Last of Us, as pointed out by the Bloomberg agency.
Still, Evan Wells doesn’t rule out that, in the future, there may be a new game in the saga. They know that fans are looking forward to the return of IP, with social media campaigns, fan-made arts, and all kinds of messages to the studio. Who knows, maybe in the future it will become reality.
