The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the most graphically impressive PS4 games, but strangely, it is one of the few that has not yet been optimized for PlayStation 5. Like almost all games on the new console, it performs better on PS5 than it does on PS4 in terms of loading times, but it has not received next gen improvements to improve its graphics.
For that reason, the YouTube channel The Bit Analyst has decided to imagine how The Last of Us Part 2 could be seen with a next gen patch on PS5, using artificial intelligence scaling programs to achieve 2160p (4K) 60fps performance.

What do you think of the result of this scaling of The Last of Us Part 2, compared to how it looks on PS4 Pro? First party games such as God of War or Ghost of Tsushima have received improvements on PS5, but this is not the case for The Last of Us at the moment.
Perhaps follow the path of Final Fantasy VII Remake, which instead of releasing a patch with the improvements, receives a new version with other news, Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
In fact, apparently Naughty Dog is working on a remake of the first The Last of Us for PS5 (and perhaps a new Uncharted), so they may take the opportunity to remaster The Last of Us Part 2 on PS5.
