The next May 7th Resident Evil Village is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC, the chilling eighth installment of Capcom’s saga, which next week will show news in a new Resident Evil Showcase (and presumably, your second playable demo).
As you already know, this new title will be accompanied by a new multiplayer mode for PS4, Xbox One and PC (can also be played on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S), called Resident Evil Re: Verse, which will tour the most mythical settings of the saga and will offer us intense games with characters such as Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Leon S. Kennedy or Nemesis.
The Resident Evil Re: Verse beta has been running for a few days on PC and consoles (also available on Steam), but Capcom has decided temporarily suspend it for matchmaking problems. It is planned that This beta ends next Sunday, April 11, ahead of the launch with Resident Evil Village.
In the last hours, many users have reported that they had problems starting the game in Resident Evil Re: Verse, with long waits and connection problems. Faced with these errors, Capcom has reported on social networks of the temporary suspension of the beta, until these matchmaking issues are fixed.
【Regarding the RE: Verse OBT】 As we are still seeing issues with RE: Verse OBT matchmaking service, we have decided that until further notice to temporarily suspend the OBT to resolve the problem. We will continue to investigate, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused.

At the moment, the beta of the game remains suspended in PS4, Xbox One and PC, although it is expected to reactivate in the next few hours. We already gave you our impressions of Resident Evil Re: Verse, which is a multiplayer tribute to the 25 years of the Capcom saga, and which allows us to face each other in 6v6 games, touring scenarios such as the Raccoon City Police Station.
Resident Evil Re: Verse is coming to PC and consoles next May 7, as a complement to Resident Evil Village (as happened with Resistance and Resident Evil 3 Remake). The game will be gratuitous for all the owners of the new survival horror of the franchise.
