The return to the beat ’em up of a lifetime was forged with the fourth installment of the Streets of Rage saga. The Me vs. the Neighborhood formula was revamped with Streets of Rage 4 for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, but its creators still have a lot to say about it.
Streets of Rage 4 will receive that rumored DLC in 2021. Finally, Dotemu has confirmed the launch of this paid downloadable content by the end of the year, although without an exact release date. Of course, we have a trailer with a few details that are very interesting.
Streets of Rage 4’s Cake Salad will expand with the DLC Mr. X Nightmares. It seems that the main villain of the saga will return in some way to this fourth installment. Apart from the name, as you have seen in the trailer, there is much more content revealed.
Estel Aguirre has been confirmed as one of the playable characters of this DLC and it seems that there will be three that make up the roster of added fighters, although only the police officer has been shown so far.
Characters are also added more combat moves and weapons. Swordfish will undoubtedly be the star of this content pack. It has also been confirmed a survival mode of which we still do not have big data. This mode will allow you to customize the characters with sets of movements.
But that’s not all and it is that this DLC will add new music tracks from Tee Lopes, composer of Sonic the Hedgehog. Dotemu added to be working on a free update with more content. If you want to find out more about this game, the creators of Streets of Rage 4 told us their secrets. Including Yuzo Koshiro!
