Marvel’s avengers, the Square Enix game, received a patch yesterday April 7, with some stability improvements and bug fixes, including crashes in some menus. Nothing too important, although unfortunately it had the opposite effect on PS4: it made it unplayable.
PS4 users who tried to play Marvel’s Avengers in the last 24 hours, after installing patch 1.30, were greeted with the error code CE-34878-0, that did not let them enter. The only solution, as some users pointed out, was uninstall the game and install it again, with version 1.29.
Fortunately, a new patch released today April 8 has fixed the bug. The patch 1.31 is now available to install, and although Crystal Dynamics has not released the patch notes, several User testimonials on Reddit and Discord claim that it fixes the PS4 problem.
This week it is likely that Marvel’s Avengers has received many new players on PS4, because from this week until July 5, it will be available in the PS Now catalog. Of course, if you have PS5, you will only be able to access the PS4 version of the Avengers game, and you will not be able to benefit from the next gen update, which came out a few weeks ago and is free for game owners.
Marlvel’s Avengers will continue to update in the coming months, having recently hosted Hawkeye (Clint Barton and Kate Bishop). Of course, until summer there will not be a new playable heroes, Black panther, which will be followed, at some point, by Spider-Man exclusive to the PlayStation versions.
