HBO celebrates Game of Thrones 10th anniversary with new trailer

This April 17 marks neither more nor less than ten years since the first broadcast of Game of Thrones, the television series created by David benioff and DB Weiss based on the novel saga A Song of Ice and Fire by George RR Martin, whose books are still far from being finished.

With a cast including the likes of Sean Bean, Lena Headey, Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Sophie Turner, Michelle Fairley and Charles Dance, the Game of Thrones series is located in a fictional medieval world where several royal houses dispute the legacy of the Iron Throne to govern Westeros, giving rise to a series of plots, betrayals and bloody wars and battles without being aware that there is a danger much greater than threatens to destroy them all.

On the occasion of Game of Thrones tenth anniversary, from HBO they have released a new trailer focusing on the eighth and final season of the series, showing the best moments lived in those last six episodes. You can take a look at the trailer below which, of course, is very full of SPOILERS.

Behind the Game of Thrones ending, from HBO they are already preparing various spin-offs to keep alive one of their star products, having already confirmed some prequels and series derived from Game of Thrones, such as House of the Dragon, a spin-off set a few hundred years before from the original series that focuses on the contest between two rival factions of House Targaryen and their struggle for power, recounting the events that led to the so-called Dance of Dragons.
