Gameplay-Focused Resident Evil Village Demo Now Uploaded to PSN, Revealing New Facts About Remote Play

Today April 8, 2021 is the date that marks less than a month from the official launch of Resident Evil Village, and its second demo would be available soon via PSN. Apparently a number of files related to this Resident Evil Village second demo have already been uploaded to PSN.

Specifically, and to be precise, four new SKUs have been uploaded (USA, Japan, Europe and Asia) to the digital store, all with names “Resident Evil Village Gameplay Demo“This should not come as a surprise to anyone, as the Capcom confirmed that it would be a game-centric one, unlike Maiden which was a visual demo.

It looks like, this new demo would have a supposed weight of 10GB, something readable from the information on PSN. But there are more details, files contain some images with the mark “Gameplay Demo“along with various other details, such as images and controls for what appears to be remote play functionality.

Thanks to MP1st we can see in more detail what exactly these references refer to in the pictures and more. Among these images are those before starting the demo, the screen that will appear just when it is launched on the console and finally the control scheme of what appears to be for PS Vita with remote play.

Similarly, there appears to be a music file related to the main topic that is heard in the playstation control panel. However, that’s it, there are no further details regarding the file, so the demo will be when it falls.
