The new game of Arkane Studios (Dishonored) is Deathloop, an action title that was scheduled to go on sale next May 21 in PS5 and PC, as a temporary exclusivity on the Sony console. However, Bethesda and Arkane just announced that the game is delayed.
Through an official statement on social networks, the creators of Deathloop have just announced that the game is finally coming out on september 14, after suffering a last minute delay. There was barely a month and a half left for the launch of the title on PlayStation 5 and PC.
The director of Deathloop and Arkane Lyon, Dinga Bakaba, states that they have decided delaying play due to quality terms and due to pandemic damage. They need extra time to offer an experience to match, so they make it clear in the statement.

”We have decided to delay the release of Deathloop until September 14, 2021. We are firmly committed to quality and to the goals and ambitions of our teams regarding Deathloop. without neglecting the health and safety of everyone who is part of Arkane” the statement explains.
The decision has caught us by surprise, and it is that chain stores like GAME had already announced the Deathloop editions on PS5 and PC, and each time we knew more details. For example, we know that its story will be self-concluding, that it will take advantage of the DualSense functions, and that it will run at 4K and 60 FPS on the PS5 version.
