Beat the Guinness record for the largest collection of Funko figures by recording a video of ... 17 hours!

The grossest collections of action figures are always impressive. One of the most common to find are Funko Pop! Collections. These cute figures are typically reasonably sized and priced, inviting fans to collect them in larger quantities, away from the price of more detailed recreations of everyone’s favorite fictional characters. On more than one occasion we have seen how fans of sagas such as Marvel or Star Wars collect huge amounts of figures, although today we are going to see what, at this moment, is the largest collection of all.

Well, see it, what is said to see it, we will see it vaguely in the image with which we open the article. This is the collection of David mebane, a man from Knoxville, Tennesee who has beaten the Guinness record to the largest collection of Funko Pop figures! of the world with 7,095 different units.

Mebane commented with WVLT-TV that had to shoot a 17-hour video to show all the figures in his collection and claim the record, because he requested them in full confinement due to the pandemic and the representatives of the Guinness Record could not visit him safely.

Plus, this daring Funko Pop! comments that every Saturday he ventures out on the hunt for new Funko Pop figures! to add to your collection, so you are currently closer to the 8,000 Funko than of the 7,095 listed on the record. Of course the biggest challenge is to get hold of limited units such as those that are delivered only in conventions such as the San Diego Comic-Con or similar and that they become authentic (and expensive) unicorns.

What do you think of the beastly collection of Funko Pop! who currently holds the Guinness record? If you take an estimate of the money invested there, it will give you something.
