Outriders muscle out with this resolution and performance comparison on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S

Outriders Unveils New CGI Trailer And Reveals New Playable Details

Outriders, the new shooter of People Can Fly and Square Enix, Already on sale. Facing the intense waves of creatures from the planet Enoch has never been so much fun, thanks to a risky but fun proposal, which is based on multiplayer cooperative and the variety of weapons and armor available to the player.

You can now enjoy the game in PlayStation, Xbox, PC and Stadia, with the incentive that is available on Xbox Game Pass since its launch day. Not all of it is good news, yes, and that is that the title has an annoying bug that can cause you to lose your weapons and armor.

Of course, Outriders has already fixed some bugs present in the demo and the first days of the final game, thanks to a new patch. PS5 and Xbox Series X | S users can now enjoy great performance and resolution, which we detail in this article. The data come from the comparison of the VG Tech portal, which we have inserted above.

Outriders is a very fluid and stable shooter, and good proof of this are the constant 60 FPS you get on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, but it is not lacking in technical quality either. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions run at dynamic 4K, being the version of the Microsoft console slightly higher.

More specifically, in Playstation 5 we find a game that works at dynamic 4K, with resolutions of 3008×1692 at the top, and from 1920×1080 at certain times, although they are not frequent. Performance wise, the title stays at a very solid 60 FPS.

If we go on to talk about Xbox series x, the People Can Fly shooter shines with its dynamic 4K resolution, which alternates between 3456×1944 with some downs of 1920×1080 (the same as on PS5, same as 60 FPS). This means that the version of the Microsoft console is superior in the moments of greater lucidity, and the same in the most discreet moments.

Finally, on Xbox Series S, Outriders works at resolution 1920×1080, while at certain times it can go down to a maximum of 1280×720. Of course, the performance maintains the 60 FPS that we see in PS5 and X Series, although it is logical that in resolution it does not run at 4K.
