The premiere of Xbox Series X had an outstanding Spanish presence: Call of the sea. A narrative adventure with puzzles and a very original and attractive setting, which, although it did not reach the launch of the console, was exclusively released for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC.
Although at the moment there has been no official announcement, from the Twitter account of Out of the Blue, the Madrid studio responsible for Call of the Sea, they drop that will come out on PlayStation. A Twitter thread, with images of the tropical island in which the game is set, the puzzles and Norah, the protagonist explorer, ends with a PlayStation logo fragment, accompanied by a “greatness awaits”, the motto of the Sony console.

The image is subtle, but leaves no room for doubt. Now we just need to know when the announcement will be, and of course, when Call of the Sea will be released on PS4 and PS5.
The Xbox Series X version, without being a particularly demanding game, did benefit from better frame rate, which raised a beautiful artistic section, so we should expect the same improvements on PlayStation. Since we are, will it also come to Nintendo Switch?
Call of the Sea is the first game from the Spanish studio Out of the Blue, although its members have extensive experience in other studios. We thought it was one of the best recent Spanish games, and it won the award for best Spanish game in the last edition of the Hobby Awards. Outside of Spain he was also nominated for best debut game in the Baftas.
