Finally! The anime film that has smashed all box office records in Japan confirms its premiere in Spain. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinity Train, or Guardians of the Night: Infinity Train, will be released in theaters on April 23rd, distributed by Selecta Visión, and with versions in VOSE, Spanish and Catalan.
Guardians of the Night tells the story of Tanjiro Kamado, a young man who becomes a demon hunter after his family was slaughtered by them, and his sister turned into a demon. The 26-episode anime aired in Japan in 2019, and the film, with the subtitle Infinity Train, makes a sequel to the anime.
Also known by the English name of Demon Slayer, Kimetsu no Yaiba is also one of the most successful manga in history, published between 2016 and 2020.
Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Train premiered in Japan in October 2020, and despite the pandemic, it broke box office records: It is the highest grossing film in history in Japan, unseating Spirited Away.
With 428 million dollars raised worldwide, is also the highest grossing Japanese film ever, the third highest grossing film of 2020, or the highest grossing R-rated animated film ever. Absolutely incredible numbers.

It also enjoyed critical acclaim, winning the Japanese Academy Award for Best Animated Film, despite not being selected for the Oscars.
There is also a Demon Slayer video game adaptation underway, currently only confirmed in Japan for PS5, Xbox Series X / S, PS4, Xbox One and PC, although seeing the popularity of the manganime around the world, it would be strange that they will not bring it to the west.
