Chadwick Boseman wins Best Actor award at the 2021 SAG Awards for The Mother of the Blues

Last December 2020, La madre del blues premiered on Netflix, the platform’s original film that represented the last participation of Chadwick boseman, actor known for his role as Black Panther in the UCM who unfortunately passed away in August 2020 as a result of colon cancer that he was dealing with in his last years.

The great work of Boseman as his co-star Viola Davis in the film The Mother of the Blues has made them nominated for Best Actor and Best Actress at the Oscars 2021, where the actor could win a posthumous award for his work.

Waiting to see the ceremony on April 25, 2021, Chadwick Boseman has already been recognized as Best Drama Actor at the Golden Globes and now he has just obtained the Best Actor Award at the 2021 Screen Actors Guild Awards, standing out ahead of the also excellent work of the actors Anthony Hopkins (The father), Gary Oldman (Mank), Riz Ahmed (Sound of Metal) and Steven Yeun (Minari).
