It’s here Outriders, the new cooperative shooter from the creators of Bulletstorm, and published by Square Enix for PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Unlike many other online games, it is not a game as a service (it is paid), nor is it full of microtransactions: it is a complete game that will offer you dozens of hours with your friends, without detours.
In this guide we are going to explain what is the world category (world tier) in Outriders: is the how to adjust the difficulty, and it works automatically, so you may want to know how to adjust it manually.
How to change the category of the world and what it is for
There are 15 world categories in Outriders. When you eliminate enemies you get experience that causes you to level up the world, and when they eliminate you, you lose that experience. Therefore, you will go up (or down) automatically.
The higher your world category, better loot you will get, but of course, some missions can be difficult if you play alone.
- You can manually change your world category by opening the mission map and clicking down on the crossbar, on consoles. On PC, you will see the option in the lower left corner of the map.
Of course, keep in mind that if you have already started missions at a higher level and then lower it, the rewards you get will be according to the lower level. However, it does not work the other way around: if you upgrade in the middle of a mission, the rewards will be commensurate with the lower level.
