After years and years waiting for a new episode of one of the most beloved sitcoms in television history, finally Warner manages to reach a consensus with all the actors who participated in it and in February 2020 an official Friends reunion is announced that could be seen on HBO Max.
However, as has happened with many other productions, the Friends meeting had to be postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, which added to the busy schedule of the sitcom actors, has caused continuous delays, not only on the premiere date of the expected reunion, but also on its recording.
A problem that seems to have already been solved, because as published by the portal Entertainment Weekly, Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt Le Blanc, Courtney Cox and David Schwimmer They are going to get together next week in April to shoot the highly anticipated Friends reunion.
Although the publication assures that HBO has not wanted to confirm or deny this information, it seems a quite probable date since Perry himself announced a few months ago that filming would begin “at the beginning of March 2021” and since finally it has not been thus, April could be the key month.
It must be clarified that this is not a new episode of the Friends series, but something more similar to what was already done with The Prince of Bel-Air, a meeting of all the actors, and its creators, David Krane and Marta Kauffman, in the classic setting of the sofa and the cafeteria, talking about everything what the sitcom meant for them and the memories it produces for them.
