Summer will host the premiere of Kena Bridge of Spirits, an indie released in mid-2020 and that it suffered a considerable delay on PS5, PS4 and PC. Luckily, this game developed by Ember Lab already has a release date.
On August 24, Kena Bridge of Spirits will be released on the aforementioned platforms. Fortunately, its creators continue to offer us details about this colorful and friendly proposal, which is positioned as one of the most powerful independent titles of this year.
In statements to Games Radar +, Josh and Mike Grier, co-founders of Ember Lab, detailed the history of the game. Kena is a novice spirit guide looking for a sacred place of knowledge. She discovers an abandoned village plagued by corruption where trapped spirits wreak havoc and unnatural decay.
Surely you have found the little creatures that accompany Kena adorable. These spirits called Rot are fundamental to the game. They have become an integral part of the story as they are the key to helping Kena on her journey and ultimately representing her growth as a character, admitted from the study. Kena can infuse any of her abilities with Rot to defeat enemies in unique ways. Rot can cage attackers, create penetrating projectiles, and even form a shape-shifting cloud to hit enemies.
Finally, Ember Lab was referencing the PS5 version; where the adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller will make an appearance using the bow and where, curiously, more Rot spirits can be seen on screen, up to 100, including those that we personalize with cosmetics and collectibles.
