More than once it has been mentioned that Call of Duty Warzone will change map soon. After a year of Verdansk, many players of the popular battle royale ask that the formula vary to continue providing new gaming experiences.
It was expected that with the union between Warzone and Black Ops Cold War, Verdansk would change its setting, but this readjustment looks like it will come later, in season 3 and with that rumored nuclear event. The first solid evidence of the change has already been seen.
A leak, it could not be otherwise, has revealed what the new Call of Duty Warzone map will look like for season 3. Everything looks like We will not say goodbye to Verdansk, but it will undergo a temporary restructuring.
In a clip published via Reddit, it has been possible to see a small footage of what will be the presentation of a Verdansk set in the 80s, in the middle of the Cold War. Here we leave you this small fragment revealed:
Despite the fact that it is a leak and not from official sources, we should not take anything for granted, although, given that Black Ops Cold War takes place in those 80s and that it has been waiting a long time for a change of scenery, it would not be wonder that this leak is confirmed at the end of April. Will the nuclear event take place or does Activision have other plans?
Regarding other news in the saga, Call of Duty Modern Warfare has been updated with new classic maps on PC and consoles. On the other hand, the new Call of Duty will use the same graphics engine seen in Warzone and Modern Warfare.
