2K Games wants to revitalize its hero shooter Borderlands 3, which has already released its next gen version for PS5 and Xbox Series X | S. To do this, the next April 8 will be available a new DLC for the game, under the title Director’s Cut, which will add some important news to the game.
Following the schemes of other online titles such as Destiny 2 or Fortnite, Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut will use a new progression system using House cards. There will be three different models, which present us with all kinds of challenges and weekly and monthly goals.
As we complete these challenges (depending on the card we choose), we will get experience points and we can level up our character, as well as the option to get certain rewards. For instance, legendary weapons, cosmetics and the so-called diamond keys, but remember that the rewards vary depending on the card we have equipped.
Gearbox has made it clear that these Camera cards will be exclusive to Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut, and you will not be able to use them if you do not have the new DLC, dated April 8 on PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
Borderlanda 3 Director’s Cut brings many new features to the 2K and Gearbox hero shooter, such as a new raid boss or additional missions, but above all, the diamond keys stand out, which we will obtain by completing the challenges of the Chamber cards.
These keys not only unlock a corresponding loot, but also give access to a room full of weapons and cosmetics to equip ourselves; it goes one step beyond the concept of the golden keys. We remind you that these allowed us to open gold chests, like the one near Marcus Munitions.
The Chamber cards and the diamond keys are the two great novelties of Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut, and we remind you that they are exclusive to this DLC, so will not be added to the base game through updates. Here you can know more about these news.
Borderlands 3 Director’s Cut goes on sale next April 8 on PC and consoles, and you can buy it separately or by buying Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition, available in digital stores.
