Resident Evil Village is one of the most anticipated games for the coming months. Dated for the next May 7th, the eighth installment of the Capcom saga has a powerful promotional figure: Lady Dimitrescu. And it is that we have been able to see it in different parts of Asia, such as part of the game’s advertising campaign.
We have spoken to you on numerous occasions about Alcina Dimitrescu (like our report on its origins), but its importance goes beyond Resident Evil Village itself. Capcom is betting heavily on this character to promote the game, and especially in Hong Kong we have already seen more than one example.
In some Hong Kong stores, Capcom has installed a promotional image of Lady Dimitrescu, to scale 1: 1, which means that it measures about 2.50 meters. Some players have wanted to take a photo with this vampire, and the truth is that she imposes her height and ferocity (as we could already see in the Maiden PS5 demo).
But this promotional campaign goes further. According to some users, it has been possible to see how many buses bear the stamp of Lady Dimitrescu in Hong Kong, as you can see in the main image of this article.
”Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu takes a bus tour. This lady is almost three meters tall, so you can enjoy the feeling of being despised by her” explains a user on Twitter.
Can you imagine getting on a Hong Kong tour bus with the Resident Evil Village advertising? Well, it is a reality, and the truth is that the importance of this vampire lady already transcends beyond the game itself. Will we see this advertising here in Spain?

Capcom did not expect the stir that has been mounted with Alcina Dimitrescu and his daughters, so he thanks the fans for their support and states that we have only seen a small part of what it means in the plot of Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil Village is coming next May 7th to PS5, Xbox Series X | S, PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and very soon we will be able to enjoy its second playable demo, this time for all platforms.
