While in Devon (United Kingdom) the second season of The Witcher series is still being filmed, Netflix, on the other hand, continues to expand the cast of The Witcher: Blood Origin, the prequel to the series starring Henry Cavill that will soon arrive on the platform.
The latest to join is actor Laurence O’Fuarain, which we have seen in series such as Game of Thrones or Vikings, which, as published on the web Deadline is going to play a character named Fjall, of whom we have the following description.
“Born into a clan of warriors who swore to protect the King, Fjall carries with him a deep scar, the death of his beloved who died in battle trying to save him.. A scar that does not allow him to settle in any place, or make peace with himself or the world around him. In his quest for redemption, Fjall will find himself fighting alongside some of his strangest allies to achieve his desired revenge that will lead him to travel across the entire continent. ”
Set 1200 years before the events recounted in The Witcher, Blood Origin will tell a “lost in time” story about how the first prototype of a Witcher was createdas well as the events that led to the key moment of the “conjunction of the spheres” when the world of monsters, men and elves came together as one.
There is currently no release date for this prequel to The Witcher.
