It’s been a busy few days for DC as regards the audiovisual. The premiere of Zack Snyder’s Justice League has once again revolutionized the internet, and fans are closely following any signs of movement in upcoming productions of DC Films and Warner. That, together with the premiere of Godzilla vs Kong, have made this week the perfect one to start the marketing campaign for one of DC’s upcoming film projects: The Suicide Squad.
The movie director, James Gunn, has shared the first official poster of The Suicide Squad, further anticipating that today the first trailer of the DC movie will arrive that will serve as a sequel / reboot of the 2016 Suicide Squad movie.
The 6th August is the estimated date for The Suicide Squad to hit screens. In the United States, the film will be released simultaneously in theaters and in HBO Max, while in countries where the platform does not provide service, it will do so in cinemas (probably a little earlier).
The DC choral film will feature an extensive cast including the return of Harley quinn, interpreted by Margot robbie and that he has become one of the most representative characters in DC movies in recent years. The film will feature characters such as Peacemaker, Polka-Dot Man, Ratcatcher or the King shark, among others. Warner hopes that the “Gunn touch” will improve the result of the film of David Yesterday, which in fact has been clamoring for weeks to be allowed to make his “Ayer’s Cut” from the 2016 film, something that does not seem to be on the studio’s plans.
