Back 4 Blood delays its release until October; in summer there will be a beta of this successor to Left 4 Dead

Back 4 Blood, the new of the creators of Left 4 Dead, is the latest game to delay its release date. The zombies will not arrive in summer: they wait for the cold, and from October 12, 2021 We will be able to enjoy the carnage that Turtle Rock prepares for PS5, Xbox Series X, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

In the timeless classic statement, Turtle Rock thanks fans for their support, but acknowledges that they need more time to make the best game possible at launch. Yes, in summer there will be an open beta.

Back 4 Blood is a first person shooter based on cooperative multiplayer. As in L4D, there are several character classes (8 characters, launch at least), but unlike other zombie games, our objective is not to survive the hordes of zombies … but to annihilate as many as we can. It is our job, after all: we are the “cleaners”, with the goal of reclaiming the Land from the zombies.

Of course, we can expect some difference with respect to Left 4 Dead, because after all, Back 4 Blood is something new … and Turtle Rock, responsible for the failed Evolve, does not own the rights to L4D, which are from Valve . The game will be published by Warner Bros. Interactive.

Due to the complications of working with the pandemic, many games have had to delay their release. In addition, it seems that this affects equally, if not more, large studies, due to the difficulty of coordinating with large studies. Without going any further, the two AAA games that Warner Bros wanted to release in 2021 have been pushed back to 2022: Howarts Legacy and Gotham Knights.
