Since Game of Thrones ended in 2019, the franchise has undergone numerous adjustments. Initially there were up to five spinoff ideas for the series that adapted the novels from Song of ice and fire of George RR Martin, Nevertheless HBO scrapped all plans in fall 2019, leaving only the House of The Dragon series, the spinoff focused on House Targaryen 300 years before the events of the main series.

Little by little, and even though House of the dragon will not see the light until 2022, HBO seems to be expanding the range of projects related to Game of Thrones you have going. A few months ago the series of Dunk & Egg, and shortly after there was talk of an untitled animated series that would be set in West.

The logical thing would be to think that HBO would wait at least to release House of the Dragon to see “how the market breathes”, but on the platform it seems that they want to continue covering more ground anticipating a great success, and have announced three new Game of Thrones spinoffs Developing.

As reported Variety, HBO has three other series set in Westeros in development. 9 Voyages will follow Lord Corlys Velaryon, also know as Sea snake, a legendary explorer married to Rhaenys Targaryen with more wealth than the Lannister and the largest army in Westeros. Flea Bottom will be set in the suburbs of King’s Landing. The last, 10,000 ships, will focus on princess mymeria and his trip to Dorne.

There is no doubt that HBO wants to take advantage of the imaginary of Game of Thrones. What do you think of the new spinoffs they have in development?
