Shin Megami Tensei III Nocturne HD, the remastering for Nintendo Switch and PS4 from the original PS2 game, the 25 of May. At least that’s what a press release from Nintendo Europe states (via Twisted voxel), in which, in addition to the date, it indicates that reservations will open tomorrow, Friday, March 19, at 22:00 Spanish time (CET).
Therefore, the announcement must be imminent, in the next 24 hours. Recall that the launch window of the game in the West was “spring”, so it fits with expectations.
At the moment, this date refers to Europe, although its launch should be simultaneous in the United States. In fact, it recently appeared on the website of the US age rating body, the ESRB, ensuring a very close launch.
SMT III HD Remaster came out in October in Japan, although with several technical problems that hampered the result. Atlus worked on patches, which we hope will come standard in this version, which will arrive in English. Previously we already offered you other details of the game and its DLC.
Nocturne was the last game in the Atlus JRPG series to come out on a PlayStation console (PS2 in 2003) before it was made. exclusive to Nintendo notebooks. In fact, although this remake comes out on PS4 and Switch, the next in the series, Shin Megami Tensei V, it will be exclusive to Switch. It will be launched simultaneously around the world and will arrive in Spanish in the summer.
