This 2021 marks the 80th anniversary of Wonder Woman, one of the most popular superheroines in the world of comics, and to commemorate such an event it has been held Believe in Wonder, a worldwide campaign that starts, how could it be otherwise, from this same March 8, 2021, in the International Women’s Day.

Created by William Moulton Marston and appearing for the first time on October 21, 1941 in # 8 of All Star Comics through a side story, Wonder woman quickly became one of the favorite characters of the fans and in less than a year he was already starring in his own comic series, being very present since then in comic culture and being adapted on the small and big screen, having among the most recent the movie of DC Extended Universe Wonder Woman 1984.

To celebrate the Wonder Woman 80th anniversary, from today DC makes available to the public # 8 of All-Star Comics, # 1 of Sensation Comics (the first comic starring Wonder Woman) and # 1 of Wonder Woman published in 1942. For its part, WarnerMedia will produce videos that focus on 80 “Women of Wonder”, including real women who, like Diana prince, are taking great strides to represent women in their respective fields of work.

As if this were not enough, the publication of the album has been announced Wonder Woman 80th Anniversary 100-Page Spectacular for next October, bringing together some of the best storytellers in comics and entertainment and paying tribute to Wonder Woman in a must-have collectable for fans of the Wonder Woman.

In addition, throughout the year, Dc comics will launch various series and graphic novels focused on the Amazon to commemorate this special anniversary, such as Nubia: Real One (Now available), Wonder Woman Earth One Vol. 3 (from tomorrow, March 9, 2021), Wonderful Women of History (on sale September 28, 2021) and Sensational Wonder Woman Vol. 1 (available from October 5, 2021).
