The Walking Dead will also be inspired by the coronavirus pandemic

The world may have been engulfed in a coronavirus pandemic in the past year, but the protagonists of The Walking Dead have been living for more than ten years and still The plot of the AMC series has found inspiration in recent world events.

This was revealed by the protagonist of The Walking Dead, Lauren Cohan, in an interview at the Conan program, after the presenter himself suggested introducing some of these aspects into the series, such as “zombie deniers or people who claim that the virus is not real.”

“I would like to say that that may be the roll of the series this year. Maybe not so explicitly but of course we are going to take the opportunity, our writers are going to let the world influence the series. They always have, but I think this is an exciting year. We know that the series ends this year and that many people are going to be watching it, “said Cohan.

That’s right, The Walking Dead, the series based on the comics of the same name by Robert Kirkman ends this year with its season 11 but before the premiere of the latter, we will have to see the third part of season 10 composed of 6 chapters that began to air on February 21 and that will explore solo characters such as Maggie, played by Lauren Cohan, or Negan, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
