One of the most beloved childhood movies of more than one basketball lover is Space Jam. The legend of sports Michael Jordan starred in this crazy adventure in which an alien ship tried to kidnap the characters of the Looney tunes to serve as slaves in Tontoland, a planet that was a theme park. In the end, they played their freedom in a basketball game, for which they required the help of one of the most successful athletes of all time.
We had not known much about the sequel to Space Jam, which will feature Lebron James as the protagonist and that will have the title of Space Jam: New Legends. However that ends now thanks to the coverage made by Entertainment Weekly.
The first images of Space Jam: New Legends show LeBron joining forces with the Looney Tunes characters as Michael Jordan did in his day. New times, new equipment and a new style of animation is what stands out the most from the images.
Probably the most striking thing we see in the images of Space Jam: New Legends is the animation style of the Looney Tunes characters, which are represented in 3D instead of the 2D that we saw in the original film. This style may be due to the environment where the film will be set, or a simple style decision during production. We hope to be able to enjoy a trailer for the film soon so that we can more accurately judge this type of animation.
What do you think of the first official images of Space Jam: New Legends?
