Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

On the occasion of the launch of Season 1 of Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War in Warzone, players will have access to a new map: the Island of Rebirth.

This new location it is an illicit Soviet base built by the CIA (and closed by itself in 1968) that has now been rehabilitated to host new battles. Half prison, half bio-chemical weapons factory and testing ground, Renaissance Island has dozens of places to explore, including laboratories, barracks, decontamination areas and even a Prison Block that sits on top of a hill and in which unspeakable acts have occurred.

With the arrival of Renaissance Island, prepare for more intense and up-close action with a gameplay similar to that of the Warzone Mini Royale mode. There will be trios and groups of four with fewer players than Verdansk, increasing the action and intensity until the final circle or until the last squad is standing.

New in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

With 32 unique POIs, you’ll need to learn where ammo depots, Supply Stations, and vehicle depots are to give your team a competitive edge on the battlefield.

In short, to win, you must know what this new scenario is like; For which we leave you this guide that will tell you how to dominate the terrain and the surroundings:

King of the Hill

The Island of the Renaissance presents zones with irregular terrain; its highest point is in the center, with the Security Area, the Factory and the Docks located just a few meters above the sea. During all infiltrations, fighting uphill will put your team at a disadvantage, so plan your falls accordingly.

Reinforcements by Ship

Due to its size, Rebirth Island is ideal for multiple encounters, especially when playing the Resurgence game mode, in which respawns can make lone wolves quench their thirst for revenge. If your squad doesn’t want to be intruded, wait for the ongoing fights to end and then eliminate the remaining survivors.

in the backyard

Whether you plan on going to the Supply Station or just going for the ammo and equipment boxes, get ready for a good fight when you travel around the Playground. With no chance for cover, in this place only your aim and your team can help you get out in one piece.

There is no safe harbor

Given their proximity to the northern laboratories and engineering buildings, as well as the Prison Block, the three buildings that make up the Port can be very recurring drop points. Stay close to shore to avoid the sights of Prison Block snipers and prepare to collect CQB weaponry to deal with threats from any of the three buildings.

A full Prison

It’s no secret that the Prison Block will be the epicenter of the action on Renaissance Island. Only the circle could take away his fame. Within this huge complex, keep in mind that they will attack from any flank, so you will have to know what the strengths of your arsenal are to face threats on whatever floor you fight.

The Yellow Door

The first floor of the Headquarters has a locked yellow door; Only those who obtain the code will be able to decipher the mysterious secrets of Rebirth Island, obtaining a reward for it. On your adventure, try to have some CQB weapons within reach to deal with the adversaries who are looking for this Easter Egg and lurking inside the building.
