With a dominance of Huawei that could soon come to an end, other Chinese companies such as Vivo seem to want to seize the occasion to intensify their expansion and presence in the European market, with the arrival of new smartphones like the Vivo X51 5G, an improved version of the X50 that was launched earlier this year, and which will be characterized by a powerful camera system and qualities that will place it at the top of the mid-range.

Starting with its screen, we find a good size AMOLED panel, which without being among the largest devices on the market, will stand out for the great use of its screen / body ratio, refresh rates of up to 90 Hz and 180 Hz touch sampling, and compatibility with HDR10 +. As for the rear, the design remains fairly clean, with the only presence of a huge rectangular module for the camera sensors, housed in the upper left corner.
And it is that the Vivo X51 5G does not stop surprising us some aspects such as the inclusion of a fingerprint reader implemented under the screen, or the absence of a headphone jack, two qualities with which the brand seeks to place itself within the premium area, and which undoubtedly stand out (for and for better and for worse) within the mid-range. In addition, despite not being specifically focused on its use in video games, to avoid overheating, this phone incorporates a liquid cooling system capable of, according to Vivo, reducing the general temperature between three and seven degrees.
Another aspect to highlight of the Vivo X51 5G is that it mounts an AK4377A chip dedicated exclusively to audio, which includes a 32-bit DAC and a headphone power amplifier. In fact, Vivo includes in the box a Vivo XE710 headphones per jack, along as a USB-C adapter to be able to use them with the smartphone.
Lastly, we cannot forget about the cameras, the strong point of this phone, with a quadruple main configuration around a custom Sony IMX598 sensor with built-in gimbal which will allow the camera module to move and correct small movements of the phone, offering stabilization for both video captures and night shots.
Availability and price
Currently we can already find the Vivo X51 5G available on the official website of the brand, where despite not having included the pre-purchase option before its launch next October 29, it is expected that soon we can acquire it under a price of 799 euros for its unique variant with 8GB + 256GB, and a unique Alpha Gray color option with gradients between shades of blue and gray.
