Today was the big day. Samsung has unveiled, as planned, the new Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, two top-of-the-range terminals with which the South Korean company expands its catalog of high-performance smartphones and raises the bar a little more in terms of design, quality of finishes and features.
The Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra keep the angled lines that have characterized the latest generations of this well-known series, are committed to an all-screen finish with a front camera located on a small circular island and also have a premium finish thanks to the combination of metal and glass in the Ultra model, and metal and reinforced polycarbonate in the standard model.
In effect, this means that, in the end, the rumors that pointed to a cut in the quality of finishes of the Galaxy Note 20 have also been fulfilled, since polycarbonate is a plastic materialor that it is obviously not on the same level as the crystal.
Both start from a common base, but present important differences that are noticeable both in design and hardware. The Galaxy Note 20 features a flat front and has more modest hardware, while the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has an Edge finish on the sides that extends the screen creating a very attractive “infinity” effect, and also has with superior hardware.
