This new monitor has a panel 27-inch VA with 2K resolution up to 165Hz, which incorporates a frameless screen with very tight side and top frames. Although one of the great novelties compared to its predecessor is the inclusion of an RGB ring on its back, with which we can enjoy multicolour lighting automatically, creating a complete environment with the rest of the brand’s peripherals.
Oriented for a use focused on games, and the long days that this usually implies, the Newskill Icarus RGB will be supported by technologies such as Flicker Free and the Low Bluelight, in addition to the main image enhancement technologies such as HDR and compatibility with both Freesync and G-Sync. Added to its high contrast of 3000: 1 and low response times of 1ms MPRT and 3ms G-toG using Overdrive, it will result in much sharper and more accurate images.
Regarding connectivity, the Newskill Icarus RGB will come equipped with several rear ports, among them we can find a DisplayPort 1.2, with which we can reach 165 Hz; as well as two HDMI, 1.4 and 2.4 respectively, compatible with playback up to 144Hz.
Finally, the incorporation of a new base stands out, with which we can adjust its inclination, both up and down, based on a more robust and stable metal structure. In addition, the monitor will also have support for standards VESA 75 × 75 and 100 × 100, which will allow us, in addition to the use of the included stand, to mount this monitor on the vast majority of supports and arms.
Availability and price
Unlike the rest of its products, and although we can already find the complete file on your website, this time Newskill has revealed that the launch of the Newskill Icarus RGB will be limited in a first exclusive through PcComponentes.
Thus, although the exact date for its availability is unknown at the moment, we already know its starting price, which will amount to 299.95 euros.
