Samsung unveils the Galaxy Z Flip 5G

Samsung has announced the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5G expanding its catalog of folding. Samsung has not waited for the Galaxy Unpacked event on August 5 to present its new terminal. Surely for focusing the conference on those who must be the great star of it, the Note 20 phablets, and also not to confuse users because we also expect another folding, the Fold 2.

Galaxy Z Flip 5G is as we have been announcing. Basically, it is a variant of the original model presented last February with its same design and format, but with support for new mobile broadband networks and a new chipset, the most advanced of Qualcomm for this year.

The terminal presents the shell design that other manufacturers such as Motorola have recovered with the Moto Razr. Enormously compact when folded, it also allows good one-handed handling when unfolded thanks to a “folding glass” via an “Infinity Flex” display protected by an “ultra-thin glass” cover. Compared to polycarbonate, this component considerably strengthens the panel and avoids the resistance and robustness problems that affected the Galaxy Fold.
