A quick look at the Acer Predator Triton 300
As we pointed out at the beginning of the publication, the Acer Predator Triton 300 incorporates an Intel Core i7-9750H processor, an Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card and 16 GB of RAM. However, in this publication we want to focus on its aesthetic section: Shape, weight, dimensions, manufacturing materials, functionality … The first thing we can say about the Predator Triton 300 is that it is very robust, made of aluminum, with a RGB keyboard of quality and a touchpad.
Predator Triton 300 has dimensions of 363mm wide, 259mm deep and nearly 23m thick, and a 15.6-inch screen. We are not facing the smallest laptop and its weight is also noticeable with its 2.5 kg. The reason for these numbers is the material used to manufacture them: Aluminum for sheet metal finishes, the keyboard base and the back cover.
The plastic is only present in the frame that surrounds the screen, which has dimensions of 15mm thick, 10mm side and 30mm bottom (useful surface with 77%). A WebCam and microphones are included at the top. Finally, at the bottom we have a reliable, thick and quality hinge system.
On the other hand, colors and lights play an important role in Acer Predator Triton 300. The laptop lid features the Predator logo on the center portion and includes blue LED lighting. The keyboard has RGB backlight, which is managed by 4 zones.
On the sides of the Predator Triton 300 are the connections and ports for peripherals, in addition to a grill that facilitates cooling.
The area is simple and without frills, thus adding simplicity to the design. The inputs are as follows: Kensington slot, RJ-45 port for wired LAN, mini DisplayPort, HDMI 2.0, 1x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-C and 2x USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A. To top it off, we have power jack, USB 2.0 and 3.5mm combo jack inputs for mic input / audio output.
