Google filters the Pixel 4a in its official store

The Google Pixel 4a is just around the corner and we already knew almost everything about this smart phone that the manufacturer has developed for the mid-range. What was not expected is that the same Google will filter it “accidentally” in his official store.

The Pixel 4a was slated to debut on May 12 at the Google I / O developer conference. In fact, the images show that date in the terminal. The COVID-19 pandemic forced to cancel the event and now it seems that the launch is very close.

The image shows a Pixel 4-like look as expected. With a black finish and a green power button, we see the perforated front camera and a speaker grille on top. On the back we see a single camera design and the fingerprint sensor. The terminal leaves behind the array of face-scanning cameras and offers an ‘all-screen’ design with slimmer bezels.

Otherwise, it is believed that he will mount a Qualcomm mid-range SoC with a screen size close to 6 inches as you will see in its specifications:

Google Pixel 4a, planned features

  • 5.81-inch screen (IPS panel) with a resolution of 2,340 x 1,080 pixels.
  • Snapdragon 730G SoC with eight-core CPU (two Kryo 470 Gold 2.2 GHz and six Kryo 470 Silver 1.8 GHz).
  • GPU Adreno 618.
  • 6 GB of RAM.
  • 128 GB of storage capacity.
  • 12.2 MP rear camera.
  • 8 MP front camera.
  • 3,080 mAh battery with 18-watt fast charge.
  • Android 10

Taking into account its market range, the price of the 3rd and that Google wants to position it against the iPhone SE 2020, this terminal is expected to have a price between 350 and 400 dollars.

Google Pixel 4a 5G

The latest rumors suggest that Google will not market ‘XL’ versions, but a variant with support for fifth generation mobile broadband networks. An edition very similar in design, but with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G mobile chipset that in addition to 5G would give it a little more performance.
