The Galaxy Tab S7 may be the big ‘cover up’ for next month’s Samsung Unpacked event. With the Note 20 as the star and the Fold and Flip models opening the way for folding, the South Korean firm does not forget its division of electronic tablets.
The sale of ‘pure’ tablets has dropped considerably in recent quarters cannibalized by increasingly larger smartphones. Currently, there only seems to be a place for the low-end economy where models like the Amazon Fire shine or the high-end where Microsoft has managed to open the category of 2 in 1 Windows with Surface Pro and Go.
Apple competes in its own league and doesn’t even sell iPad Pros as tablets, but rather as devices to replace laptops. We do not see any Android manufacturer capable of competing with them … except Samsung. Here comes this Galaxy Tab S7 for which launch is expected in two models, standard and Plus, according to screen size of 11 and 12.4 inches respectively.
