The event Ubisoft Forward took place yesterday. We saw a large number of novelties of various video games, from large company franchises to small titles that made their appearance fleetingly. Among the most prominent were Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6. In this case we come to speak precisely of these last three and their improved versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
Free upgraded versions
Ubisoft has already shown its policy regarding the generational passage of its video games. It does so with its three main and closest video games: Watch Dogs Legion, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Far Cry 6. All of them launch this year, just before PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X come out. Well: These three video games will be updated on new generation consoles for free. Just insert the PS5 video game disc into our PS5 and we will get the free update to play.
Players who buy Far Cry 6 For Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you can get a copy of the game for next-gen consoles when Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 launch, at no additional cost.
Furthermore, we learned that Watch Dogs Legion will use the system ray-tracing to improve the lighting system. This measure will be an increasingly normal option in new generation video games, so it is not surprising that other video games join in the improved versions. Other video games such as Rainbow Six Siege have already confirmed that they will also have improved versions for the new generation consoles.
Before finishing, we remind you that another Ubisoft Forward will take place at the end of 2020. Yesterday there were many video games in the pipeline: Skull And Bones, Beyond Good & Evil 2, Gods & Monsters and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine.
