After trying successfully last year, Garmin renews its commitment to solar charge and incorporates it into several of its star watches. Smartwatches with a sporty spirit, designed to be enjoyed outdoors and that we can now use during weeks without using the charger.
News starts with new Phoenix 6S and 6S Pro, which have a solar edition and are capable of monitoring sports activities of all kinds, including innovations such as surfing, rock climbing, mountain skiing or mountain bike routes.
Garmin also highlights the incorporation of a widget of acclimatization very useful for the high mountains and that will allow climbers to assess the level of oxygen in blood according to height.
The Serie Garmin InstinctFor its part, it incorporates three new models with solar charge. They incorporate a saving mode capable of extending the autonomy of the watch for 50 days, in exchange for sacrificing some of the functions. Like the other models, there is no lack of advanced options for cardiac monitoring, blood oxygen measurement or automatic alert to emergency services.
Finally, the new military certified watches Tactix Delta Solar They ensure 21 days of autonomy in clock mode and up to 60 hours in continuous GPS. They include functions such as Kill Switch, capable of deleting all the information stored in the clock to safeguard the security of the mission in any circumstance.
