Samsung is finalizing the launch of the Galaxy Tab S7 +, a high-end tablet that could share the stage with the Galaxy Note 20. There is nothing definitive, but if this is confirmed her presentation would take place on August 5. It makes sense, as the South Korean company could take advantage of the “Unpacked” event to present both products.
The first information indicated that Samsung was going to do everything possible to shape a very powerful tablet, and a recent leak also points in that direction. Since Sammobile, one of the best known and most reliable sources in the industry, has listed the complete specifications of the Galaxy Tab S7 +, and we find:
- 12.4-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,752 pixels.
- Snapdragon 865+ SoC (rumored to be using a Snapdragon 865).
- 6 GB-8 GB of RAM (two possible configurations).
- 128GB-256GB of storage capacity (may depend on your chosen RAM configuration).
- 10,000 mAh battery compatible with 15-watt recharge.
- Full S-Pen support and new built-in features.
- Android 10 with the OneUI 2.5 customization layer.
- Dual 13 MP and 5 MP rear camera.
There is no doubt, the Galaxy Tab S7 + will have a set of specifications that will be, in general, at the height of any current top-of-the-range smartphone, with the only peculiarity of the rear camera, a component that has less relevance in this type of device.
It is rumored that Samsung could use a panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a decision that would make a lot of sense, since it would allow it to put on the market a model that would be more in line with Apple’s iPad Pro, but it has not been confirmed yet.
Along with this model we will see a Galaxy Tab S7, successor to the Galaxy Tab S6, which will have a very similar configuration, but that will probably mount a Snapdragon 865 SoC instead of a Snapdragon 865+. Both versions will be Compatible with the S-Pen and can be used with a removable keyboard, two accessories that will improve productivity and make the Galaxy Tab S7 and Galaxy Tab S7 + very interesting options to combine work and leisure.
We don’t have any information on the sale price yet, but it’s probably the cheapest model start at about 600-700 euros, approximately. That price would include the S-Pen, but not the removable keyboard.
