At first glance, the new RedmiBook arrive with a minimalist design very similar to that of their predecessors, although with just lifting the cover we will begin to see the first changes. And it is that both terminals will have a renewed screen 1,920 x 1,080 pixels FullHD, which thanks to the use of smaller bezels, leaves us with some screen / body ratios greater than 90%.
In addition, the keyboard has been redesigned to offer a better optimized user experience, with new keys with a 1.5-millimeter stroke. Additionally, both laptops have a new improved cooling system, with a 6mm heat pipe for cooling and fans up to 30% larger than the previous generation.
However, this does not prevent the RedmiBook 14 II from staying at just 1.3 kilos, being one of the lightest 14-inch models on the market; or the still manageable 1.8 kilograms of the RedmiBook 16. And is that Xiaomi refocuses its laptops in the field of maximum performance with maximum portability.
In line with the latter, we will find other changes at the connectivity level, with the inclusion and support for WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1, in addition to the highly demanded additional ports, now augmented with an HDMI, three USB ports, and two USB-C ports (one of them intended for charging devices).
Some batteries that will go up to 40 and 46 Wh for the 14 and 16-inch models respectively, which will result in uup to 7.5 hours autonomy in normal use and surfing the web for the RedmiBook 14 II, and a slightly longer shelf life for the RedmiBook 16, from up to 8.5 hours under the same stage.
In addition, both models will have the same 65W fast charging system, which through the USB-C port, promises to be able to charge the 50% battery in just 30 minutes.
