Price of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2, they will be quite expensive

Thanks to a recent leak we have been able to know the price of the Galaxy Note 20, and also the Galaxy Fold 2, in Europe, and the figures point to a clear rise in prices compared to the current generation. Keep in mind, however, that the cost of each model could vary slightly in each country of the European Union depending on different aspects, such as the taxes applied to this type of product, for example.

Having said that, we are going to enter to see the price of the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Fold 2. The Galaxy Note 20 family will be available, in theory, in two versions, the standard and the “Ultra”, the latter will have a larger screen and higher specifications, but it will also be more expensive.

The price of the Galaxy Note 20 will be, according to this leak, from 1,249 euros for the standard model and 1,499 euros for the «Ultra» model. These prices refer to the Greek market, so it is most likely that the average price of the Galaxy Note 20 in Europe is around 1,199 euros for the standard model and 1,399 euros for the «Ultra» model.

If we put these figures in perspective and compare them with the launch price of the Galaxy Note 10 we find an obvious increase in price, Since the Galaxy Note 10 came with a price of 999 euros, and the Galaxy Note 10+ landed at a cost of 1,149 euros. We imagine that the changes at the design and hardware level will be large enough to justify this price increase, but until we know the final official specifications we cannot take it for granted.

The price of the Galaxy Note 20 will be high, and what about the Galaxy Fold 2?

Well it will be even more expensive, and it is normal, after all we talk about a smartphone with a flexible screen which will come with a totally premium finish and will be priced at 2,199 euros in Greece, a figure that even exceeds the launch price of the original Galaxy Fold, although it is perfectly understandable since this new model will come with 5G connectivity.

The price of this terminal in other countries in Europe could be slightly lower, but we must be clear that will not drop below 2,000 euros, unless Samsung chooses to launch some special promotion. Before finishing I remind you of the specifications of the Galaxy Note 20 in its two versions.
