After presenting the “Moto razr”, Motorola remained silent. After the closing of MWC 2020 in Barcelona, that silence lasted until today. In a statement via social media, the Lenovo-owned brand announces its return to the high-end with the new “Edge” line and its two versions to be presented in a few days.
This Tuesday, Motorola published a tweet that takes us to the site where the new family of smartphones will be unveiled.

According to rumors, this new line complements Motorola’s work with the “One”. However, years ago there was no team with the most powerful Snapdragon available on the market. Now this “Edge Plus” version, along with 5000 mAh of autonomy, will carry the 865, the same as the S20 from Samsung and the Mi 10 from Xiaomi. The Edge’s younger brother would remain on the 765 and a 4,500 mAh battery.
Another news that this new “Edge” family would bring is the extremely curved edge that inspires the name – well, it inspired Samsung from the Note Edge introduced years ago and then we had it on the S6 and S7 -. This screen could have 90 Hz refresh rate and resolutions up to 1080+.
