As per a Buzzfeed News report, Google advised employees by way of an e-mail that the Zoom app will cease engaged on their work laptop computer supplied by the corporate. Google cited security vulnerabilities as the explanation behind banning employees from using the Zoom app.
“Recently, our security staff knowledgeable employees using Zoom Desktop Client that it’ll now not run on company computer systems because it doesn’t meet our security requirements for apps utilized by our employees”, a Google spokesperson was quoted as saying.
